Nicole Morris is a Black working-class poet who writes essays. She has been featured in The Stinging Fly, Banshee, Roxane Gay's The Audacity, and elsewhere. Originally from Los Angeles, she lives in Galway where she's in the throes of a debut memoir on grief as inheritance.
